Our History

TWFS Australia is an incarnation of ‘Bevan Turner’ Group that evolved in 1992 & prospered over the next 18 years from a base in Drummond Street, Carlton (with other branches in Sydney & Adelaide).  BTG grew to some 30 staff supplying a multi-dimensional service resource to a wide variety of business sectors including the Manufacturing, Banking, Warehousing & Transport Industries, as well as Aged Care, Hospitality & Major events such as Spring Racing Carnival & Sydney Olympics.

Following the acquisition of Bevan Turner Group by a National Labour Supply & Training Group, Bevan was approached by Federally Government funded Auto Skills Australia to champion the Ford Transition Program of redundant ex vehicle workers & as a result TWFS emerged.

We created an unprecedented mission of taking participants beyond the traditionally accepted outplacement service of making people ‘job ready’ to a guaranteed ‘job placement’ outcome.  As a result we have seen in excess of 400 ex auto workers successfully re-deployed since 2014.  Through our connection to the ‘Beyond Outplacement’ program we have access to a very large pool of ex-auto industry workers. 

Our Current Philosophy

Over our several years in implementing the Auto Worker Outplacement Solutions, we have made contact with Small to Medium Enterprises throughout Victoria & we now have a significant 300+ client base that is aware of our unique service offerings & has interest in our supply systems. We are working with clients across a number of industries & sectors such as Manufacturing, Warehousing, Transport, Building & Construction, Food Processing, Aged Care & Mining.

As we gain the confidence of each new client, we are inevitably approached to provide a combination of our services including Permanent Executive & Staff Recruitment, Contract & Casual Labour as well as Training Facilitation Solutions.

We have developed a recruitment process to emulate individual Client operational conditions and thereby ensure candidates are better informed, better prepared and better suited to specific Client site culture and conditions.

We seek to forge strong partnerships with committed Clients, that recognise the value of consistent interaction and communication as essential in assisting us to maintain the desired high level of service and supply described. We set out to build this supply model to service all industry sectors where permanent recruitment, contractor or casual labour is essential to commercial efficiency.

We are a Boutique Multi-Faceted Service Provider … we like to keep our team small … we get to know our clients & value our relationships with those who value our personal approach. We have proven that we can build our team at short notice for projects as required by our clients & we also have partnerships with organisations like us who believe in supplying clients with quality services.  We only employ Hospitality sensitive/Industry Savvy Consultants. We select our team for their energy, professionalism, pride in performance, attention to detail, and highly developed Customer Service sensitivity.

Our Management Team

Bevan Turner – Principal
Bevan Turner has over 35 years experience in Permanent Executive & Staff Recruitment beginning at Drake Executive & then starting his first business, Bevan Turner Group, in 1992. This business grew to include casual labour in white collar, blue collar, Aged Care & Hospitality then moved to training facilitation in Caravan Parks around Australia. He was the instigator of the Beyond Outplacement program for the Automotive Industry & his approach was key to placing over 400 redundant ex auto workers in new jobs over a 4 year period.


Meagan Bourke – Finance Manager & Senior Recruitment Consultant
Meagan has 20 years experience in Permanent & Temporary Recruitment. She has recruited & continues to recruit permanent staff for a number of long standing clients, has managed a ‘temp desk’ of white collar, blue collar, Aged Care & hospitality clients, run temporary/contract payroll, assisted in the development & co-ordination of the Beyond Outplacement program & manages our business on a day to day basis.
